Do you have a brand new Fence that needs
protection from the Texas Elements? Has your new Fence had a minimum 3-5 weeks to cure
post build? If so At Lone Star We have got you covered. Using Our Custom Stain
made in shop, your new fence needs protection with 2 coats of quality Stain. Locate our 3
main Colors ( Brown, Red, & Gold ) to determine a baseline. As Fence Sealing experts, we
have the ability to manipulate Homeowners desired color by Darkening and Lightening the
main colors to anyone’s Liking. What remains the same is the years of protection your Fence
will Retain for years on end.

What does Fence Rehab really Mean? As your Fence
Staining/ Sealing Experts let us explain. It is much more cost effective to maintain
your Fence over a 20 year Window as opposed to neglecting it. A new fence ranging
from 80-135 Linear Feat will cost thousands. Upwards of Five thousand dollars! Over
7 years of all the seasons/elements hammering your exterior
Structures/Fence/Pergolas, eventually anyone will see. “ Hey my fence is not as
pretty as it used to be” Do not be alarmed. In our photo gallery is the magic we
perform in turning an old dry gray fence into A BRIGHT & PRETTY Fence ready for
Weathering in only Two trips.
Cleaning and Staining your fence when needed is much cheaper and more cost
effective. In fact the more you maintain your fence the more longevity/protection a
Cedar fence will have and the easier it becomes as well. Timing is Everything!
Every Fence scenario has its own story. Contact a Fence Tech today to learn more
on your unique fencing Rehab resolution.

Repairs can range from simple Pickett, trim & Dragging gate repair. To
Long Leaning Sections of Fence & Retaining Wall Repair and or Re-Alignment. We
specialize in R & R. In contracting Terms this means Repair and or Replace
whatever will be specific to each Fencing Problem. Give a FenceTech a shot to
Physically assess your Unique fencing Scenario and see what options we can
provide to remedy not only a Cosmetic setback yet perhaps one in which can
become more serious!

This is a critical question. The answer to
The Specific Material which was previously applied to a Fence can certainly steer the
selection of material that can be used in Rehab setting. Additionally what is very
Important is the amount of coverage still leftover from any given material Previously
used to seal Fence, pergola and Exterior Structure. What we have come to know is
the fact that 95% of Homeowners have a good Idea of what look is desired for the
upcoming Fence rehab. Again Knowing for certain the material if any leftover on the
existing fence will be a major factor in determining a correct and exceptional Look
you Hire us to achieve. In some cases folks do not have a clue as to what material
was previously applied. We can assist only through physical inspection of fence.

At Lone Star our stain made up of three main Ingredients. Color which is
( Concentrate, Red, Brown or gold ) Mineral Spirits, and Oil. Those three Ingredients
make a traditional stain in which penetrated a dry piece of wood. This type of stain
does bleed through to the other side of picket proving almost 100% saturation even if
only one side of Pickett has had stain applied to it. After two coats your
Fence/Pergola will be sealed.

Do not be fooled by the name. Solid color Stain is TECHNICALLY called stain only
by the mere fact that the “ SOLID COLOR STAIN” has 20% oil in the mix with
“Penetrates “ the wood. Not so fast. As a Fence Expert here are the workability traits
of “ Solid Color Stain” When I spray. I have to wipe down poles and hinges
Immediety “ Like paint” Overspray is not forgiving “ Like Paint” I have to prep any
structure “ like Paint” Solid Color Stain over time “Peels…..Like Paint” The material
is essentially paint. Paint “ A.K.A Solid Stain” is good to have a structure be one
uniform look. This is wonderful and Customer specific. However, Generally Once a
fence is covered in Solid Stain “ Paint” say goodbye to ever using an actual
Penetrating Stain. In our Professional Opinion. Very Important one is to be aware of
any material before applying.

Most Texas fences look weathered and turn gray within the first year of being built. If the fence is sealed and coated, it will keep its color and integrity for several years. Pigmented stains will allow you to match or enhance current color schemes and landscapes.
